A blessing that protects your home from negative energy
Protecting your home energetically is one of the most effective ways to keep unwanted, negative energies at bay. When you energetically protect your space, it helps maintain a peaceful and harmonious environment, free from any external disturbances.
In the beginning, you may need to repeat this protection a few times to ensure its strength. Once you feel that the energy protection has faded, simply recreate it to maintain a shield of peace around your home. This process doesn’t need to be complicated or require any special tools.
The power of prayer
At its core, this protection is a simple prayer. Prayer is a deeply powerful form of communication with the Universe. It’s a way of calling upon divine energy to shield your space from anything that might disturb your peace. You are free to use your own words or choose a prayer that resonates with you personally. The intention is what matters most.
A scent and smoke-free approach
Unlike other methods, such as burning sage or palo santo, this prayer requires no smoke or incense. While I enjoy the fragrance of these plants, I’ve come to realize that inhaling the smoke in a confined space may not always be healthy. After moving out of my previous apartment, I noticed how the smoke had seeped into my belongings, leaving behind a lingering scent. This experience led me to reconsider using smoke indoors. Instead, I’ve found that prayer offers a cleaner, more sustainable way to cleanse and protect my space without any harmful side effects.
Optional: bring crystals for extra protection
If you like to add a physical element to your energetic protection, consider using crystals. Crystals have been used for centuries to amplify energy and provide spiritual support. For protection and grounding, I recommend crystals like Black Tourmaline and Hematite. These stones are known for their ability to absorb negative energy and provide a stable, grounding presence in any space. Keep them close by during the ritual, and allow their energy to enhance the protective prayer.
The blessing to protect your home
You can do this blessing where ever you want inside your home.
Once you are in the chosen spot, close your eyes.
Imagine your home inside a massive violet see-through bubble. You can also imagine a violet light spinning around your home, going around it, below, and above it.
Then say these words – or anything similar:
I ask the Violet Light, Angels, and the Universe to protect and bless my home. Above. Below. Front. Back. Left side. Right side. Inside.
I ask Mother Earth to protect and ground my home.
In return, I protect you, Mother Earth.
Only love and light come into my home. My house is safe and protected.
Now and forever.
With gratitude, I say thank you for your protection.
I often walk to the front door and bless it, too – as it is such a beautiful symbol to only allow good energy in.
